Episode 3: Why are Plants Important?

Plants are important to us humans and the environment. Without plants we wouldn’t have the food availability nor the oxygen to sustain ourselves. Plants have an important role in the carbon cycle— they help store carbon dioxide and mitigate climate change. Plants are homes for many animal species. Plants have evolved with animals as well as humans to help disperse their gametes to reproduce. Botanicals can help heal. Listen to the whole episode to learn more about why plants are important.
